Adam Hunter represents both business and individual clients in the District
of Columbia. His main areas of litigation are in
criminal cases,
civil cases, and
landlord/ tenant matters. He has represented
hundreds of clients and successfully tried numerous cases in D.C. Superior Court. Adam is barred in the District of Columbia, New Jersey, and New York.
He is a graduate of Howard University School of Law (J.D.) and Howard
University (B.A.’s Economics and Political Science cum laude).

Prior to forming
Hunter & Johnson, PLLC, Adam was Of Counsel with Harden & Pinckney, PLLC in the District
of Columbia with a primary focus in criminal defense and civil litigation.
He clerked in Middlesex County Superior Court in New Jersey for the Honorable
Lorraine Pullen in the Criminal Division.
Organizations
Adam is involved in a
number of community organizations. He is on the National Executive Committee for the Young Lawyers Division
for National Bar Association serving as its General Counsel. He is the
Vice President of the Board of Directors for D.C. Law Students in Court,
an organization that represents D.C. residents in both civil and criminal
cases. He is also a board member for the New Jersey Orators, an organization
that teaches public speaking to youth between the ages of 7-18.
